Chickasaw National Recreation Area. 300 hazard trees removed across 84 acres of ravine slopes reaching 70 degrees, on a wildfire pathway running toward Sulphur, Oklahoma. Completed in 17 days. Recovered timber donated to the Chickasaw Nation Firewood Program, supporting more than 200 households.
Zero closure with 1,200 daily visitors
Guilford Courthouse National Military Park. More than 600 hazard trees and 3,600 tons of fuel load removed across a 15-day window with zero site closure, while the park stayed open to the public.
Zero ground disturbance on unexcavated earthworks
Fort Donelson National Battlefield. 122 hazard trees removed across 160 acres of unexcavated Civil War earthworks using airspade excavation and carbide root removal, with zero disturbance to the archaeological resource.
108,000 pounds over an occupied entrance
Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot National Monuments. 108,000 pounds of material extracted by crane above the visitor entrance inside a 12-hour closure window, at a site drawing 850,000 annual visitors.
