This is travel work. The jobs are on federal sites across 11+ states, and you will not be home every night. A mobilization call can put you on the road within 24 hours. The sites are national parks, national cemeteries, recreation areas, battlefields, and national forests. The work is real and the ground is not a parking lot.
The crew is small. That is deliberate. A small team with credentialed supervision and direct owner involvement on every award is how this firm holds its standard. You will not be a number on a large crew. You will be one of the people the owner is standing next to when the decision gets made.
The consequences are real. A limb through a visitor center roof, a damaged headstone, a root ball through an unexcavated archaeological resource. These are not hypothetical risks on federal land. Four things, stated plainly.
Standards-driven work habits.
You hold your work to ANSI A300 and Z133 even when nobody is watching. The standard is the standard. Shortcuts on federal land are not a style question, they are a liability question.
Comfort operating with the public present.
Visitors, mourners, motorists, and ceremony attendees are part of the job site. If an active drop zone with foot traffic underneath makes you hesitate, this is not the right fit.
Credential trajectory.
ISA Certified Arborist, TRAQ, and a path toward BCMA. You may not hold all of them yet, but you are moving toward them and you can show the work.
A clean safety record.
No pattern of incidents. We will ask, and we expect a straight answer. A single event with a clear lesson is not disqualifying. A pattern is.
